American Literature Spring Term, 2014 The course requirements 1. Presence (10%) 2. Critical essays (30%, three critical essays) 3. Class summaries (60%, bi-weekly with each summary covering four periods of class) 4. PPT presentations (By turns for the whole academic year) 5. No final examinations for the whole academic year 6. All the written assignments should be typed and printed 7. Each PPT presentation should be done within 15minutes 8. Plagiarizing is to be punished with a cup of coffee in Prof.Fan’ office. 9.
