The anti-counterfeiting characteristics of several functional anti-counterfeiting materials and its application in anti-counterfeiting field were introduced. Besides that, Characteristics of several recording anti-counterfeiting materials and the principle of information and its purpose were also presented. Future research direction of anti-counterfeiting materials was prospected and the domestic development trend of the anti-counterfeiting technology were summarized.
