IntroductionFor a long time, we all focus on the functions of the cognitive factors in the teaching process, while to some extent neglecting the emotional factors. However, most of the discussions and research about the relationship between the factor of teachers and learners emotion are done from the perspective of one of them instead of both of them.As is known to all,teaching activities are international ones between teachers and students. New Curriculum emphasizes:“In the teaching process,emotional factors of students in English learning should be concerned. Teachers should develop students’ positive emotion of learning English,ensure participation of teachers and students and make them develop harmoniously in English teaching and learning”.1In the current situation of advocating the learner-based teaching,it’s not enough for teachers to be close to students, they should go further into students’ emotional world. Attention to emotional factors in English learning and teaching can definitely improve language learning and the effectiveness of teaching. In turn, the emotional classroom can contribute in a significant way to educating learners affectively.?The views of new curriculum no longer understand the course in the narrow scope of?“Knowledge”,?“Subject”,?“Teaching subjects”, but defines it to be an educational agency communicating with students’ realities life through critical and reflective practice in the students’ life on the basis of human life experience. Recently, though much has been done directly on the relationship of them, however, there is still a long way to go. In order to deepen our understanding of the relation and the function and influential factors of learners emotion, we analyze these factors and try to find out what kind of teacher can stimulate learners positive emotion and then achieve the best teaching effect.This paper dips into the study of
