Objective of my study The main goals of this study based on the Cyt-b gene are: To determine the phylogenetic relationships of the Z. platypus populations. To infer historical population processes (e.g., fragmentation, expansion,or long distance colonisation). Huangshan Z.platypus 5 sequences of cyt-b of Z. platypus of Huangshan, 75 cyt-b sequences retrieved from GenBank Significant diverge among population Two main mt-DNA lineages Root position of Huangshan population About samples Samples : 77 specimens were used. Among them, 72 specimens were quoted from GenBank library. The remaining samples which were collected by us in Mt. Huangshan.
