In recent years, exploring the relationship between language and gender has been a hot research topic for sociolinguists. With the continuous development of society, the gender discourse style differences are ever-changing. This paper focuses on the analysis of overall situations of gender discourse style differences and the concrete embodiments of different gender discourse styles in the family and working settings. The purposes of this paper are to stress the setting factors on gender discourse style differences, to illuminate significances of linguistic cultural phenomena and finally to promote people to develop a dialectical and scientific attitude towards linguistic cultural phenomena in our ever-changing society.
