Abstract
In the common design of diesel engine, it! s necessary to optmi ize the engine in order to mi prove the
dynam ical characteristic and the f el econom ic characteristic of the tr ck. The tr ck! s pow er balance
eq ation w as confirmed and verified by expermi ent, the dynam ical characteristic and the f el econom ic
characteristicw ere analyzed based on the pow er balance eq ation and niversal characteristic of engine.
The res lts showed that the pow er tilization and the f el econom ic characteristic w ere poor in the
common cases. The optmi ized t rbocharger and f el injection p mp for the d iesel engine show ed that the
f el cons mption of 100 km w as red ced at the speed of 40 ~ 70 km /h, and accelerating ability w as
mi proved.
