GUIDELINES IN GENERAL Write most of the section in the past tense. Organize it in chronological order. Be precise and concise. SUBHEADINGS Construct subheadings that correspond to those to be used in the Results section. Read your target journal to familiarize yourself with frequently used subheadings.
