Activity bank of words（单词活动库） 1. Who is the quickest? T writes some words or letters on the blackboard , then T reads them and let 2Ss from 2groups to listen and point , let’s see who is the winner, then give his group one score. (We can find a little T to read.) 2. The big shark. Draw two children with some balloons (They stand for two groups), then draw two sharks under the children .The T writes the words on the balloons. Two groups choose 2 Ss to come to the front ,Play “paper, scissors, stone”, who is the winner, who begins the game. If the first one can read one of the words on the balloon of the other group , he can shoot one balloon . If he can’t read then let the rival(竞争者) reads the word. (if all the balloons are shot , the child will be eaten by the shark and his group will lose one score ) 3. Words relay. Divide the Ss into 2 groups. Play “paper, scissors, stone” the winner begins first. She can say a word, the other group should say another word beginning with the last letter. e.g: A: top → B: pen A: nine → B: eight 4. Listen and pick up the letters\words. T sticks some letters\words on the blackboard, find 2 Ss to come to the blackboard, T reads a letter\word, the Ss should pick up the letter\word and put it on the desk. The first one will win the game. Then change other 2 Ss. 5. Guessing game. Find 2 Ss from 2 groups, one act, the other says the word, if he can say it out, his group gets a score, if he can’t, the opposite group will get a score. 6. What’s missing? T takes cards or writes 5 words, review the words first then takes away one card or cleans a word, let Ss guess which one is missing, he who is right will get a score. 7. Clap hands. Let Ss say the numbers, if they meet numbers “3.6.9.12…” they can’t say the numbers just clap their hands, if they make mistakes they will lose the game. 8. Touching game.
