Teaching design
PartⅠ Teaching Aims and Demands :
1、Knowledge Objects:
(1)Enable the students to master these words : hen 、sheep、 goat 、lamb 、cow 、horse and their plural forms .
(2) Enable the students to grasp the sentences: What are they? They are goats.
(3) Review the animals they have learned. Let the students understand the meanings of let’s do and do the correct actions.
2、Ability Objects:
(1)Cultivate the students’ ability of listening, speaking, reading and writing.
(2)Train students’ ability of communicative English.
3、Moral Objects :
According to the language learning, the students can complete their learning tasks, and then they feel their success, so they have inherent motive and interest to learn English. At the same time cultivate the students to love animals.
PartⅡ Analysis of students:
The students have learnt English for more than one year. They have known some English already, and most of them like it, but some are afraid to speak English, so I’ll give them more chance to practice. The students in Grade Four are lively and active. And these fowls are around their living, so it is easy to accept.
PartⅢ Analysis of the Teaching Material:
The topic of this unit is about fowls and vegetables, this lesson is the first lesson of unit six. And it includes two parts: Part A Let’s learn and Let’s do.
1、Teaching key points
(1)Enable the students to listen 、speak 、read the words :hen 、sheep、 goat 、lamb 、cow 、horse and their plural forms .
(2) Enable the students to grasp the sentences: What are they? They are goats.
2、Teaching difficult points
Enable the students to master the plural forms of horse、sheep、and goats.

There are six lessons in Unit 6 At a farm. This lesson is the first lesson of Unit 6.
