The building which is 6 stories is located in HuangDao district, the total area of the building is4278.26 m2, and the frame structure is applied in this paper.The whole paper has two parts: architectural design and structural design. In the architectural design, the paper mainly includes the plane design, vertical design and sectional design. The function of each room is well considered to construct the design practically and reasonably. In the part of structural design one pin typical frame is selected to calculate the stresses caused by the direct and indirect actions. After the determination of the internal force, the combination of internal force is made by using the excel software, whose purpose is to find one or several sets of the most adverse internal force, which is the basis of protracting the reinforcing drawings of the components.
