摘要 : 世博会是由一个国家的政府主办 , 由多个国家或国际组织参加 , 集中展示人类文化的
盛会 。世博会对提升上海城市综合竞争力 、促进城市多元文化的发展 、完善城市文化服务功
能、鼓励城市理念的创新都有积极的推动作用 。世博会是上海走向世界的契机 , 也对城市文
化发展提出了一系列新的要求 , 上海文化发展在取得巨大进展的同时 , 还应该进一步提高科
技创新能力 , 完善城市公共环境艺术 , 重视世博会对上海城市形象的影响研究 。

on Cultural Development in Shanghai

Ab stract : World exposition is a big event hosted by the government of a country and participated by
countries and organizations around the world , an event that show cases human civilization and culture .
The hosting of such a big event will play active roles in uplifting the competitive power of Shanghai ,
advancing development of cultural diversity , improving services of urban culture and encouraging the
innovation of urban ideas. It is a golden opportunity for Shanghai to go to the world , but it also makes a
higher demand on cultural development in urban areas. Shanghai needs to uplift its technological
innovative capability , improve artistic environment in public places and study the image that Wolrd
Exposition has produced on the city along with its tremendous progress in cu
