Good morning,ladies and gentlemen. I am Yedongmei, from Zhao Peng Primary School. I’m glad to interpret my teaching design here. Today I’m going to talk about Unit 2, PEP Primary English, Book 1. This unit is mainly about colors.
I?divide?my?teaching?into?7?parts.?First, let me talk about the teaching material.
Analysis of the teaching material
The content of my lesson is about colors,interspersed with simple expressions in communication.And there are some colorful pictures in this unit.The pictures give Ss to find everything fresh and new feeling, arouse students learning motivation and learning interest. Colors are closely related to the students’ daily life. By study of this unit, the Ss know how to read some colors in English and how to introduce someone with simple sentences,like,This is WU Yi fan. The study of this unit will help the Ss with daily communication,such as

In this unit,On the one hand,Ss learn how to read some words and simple conversations;on the other hand,they begin learning how to write English letters. This is the first time they write in English.So the teaching materials pay attention to cultivating their correct habits of writing.

As we all know: the main instructional aim of learning English in primary school is to cultivate pupils’ basic abilities of listening and speaking and their good sense of the English language, So I put forward the teaching objectives of this unit as follows.
