Abstract
As the development of technologies, we have gradually recognized that human is
playing a more and more important part as the carrier of knowledge when entering the
st
21 century. Human resource has become the focus of all organizations which they
are all trying to keep in their own possession. More and more researches have paid
their attention to job satisfaction and organizational commitment, as low job
satisfaction and organizational commitment will do bad to work performance, if it
goes from bad to worse, it will result in absence and turnover. All of these will have a
bad effect on work efficiency. In order to avoid the bad result above, we should get
the outlines of job satisfaction and organizational commitment, and find the factors
that affect these two variables.
This study takes the Geriatric social workers in the experimental units of the
Ministry of Civil Affairs as the research sample, adopts questionnaire survey and
makes use of SPSS statistics software to analyze the descriptive situation of job
satisfaction and organizational commitment, and then do the factor analysis,
independent-samples T test and one-way ANOVA, Pearson Correlation Coefficients in
order to test whether there are significant differences between the personal variables
and job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and then test whether there are
significant correlation between job satisfaction and organizational commitment.
Based of the findings above, the thesis will give some suggestions for the
experimental units to enhance the job satisfaction and organizational commitment.
