目的论视角下的历史文本翻译 _ 以《新天地的奥秘》为例.pdf

摘要 翻译是一种有意识的人类活动，维米尔将其定义为一种“有目的”的活动。目 的论主张译者在翻译时要始终牢记翻译目的，在翻译过程中翻译目的具有决定翻译策 略和方法的重大作用，并在很大程度上制约着翻译过程，在翻译过程中译者会根据不 同的翻译目的采取不同的翻译策略。笔者对一篇名为《新天地的奥秘》的文章进行翻 译，在翻译过程中，根据赖斯的理论，对文本类型进行分析，选篇介于“信息型文本” 和“表情型文本”之间；依据不同的翻译目的，或传达信息，或尊重异质，采取适当 的策略，直译意译、归化异化等。从而印证目的论所提倡的翻译方法和策略行之有效， 也强调出“异化”在翻译“具有文学色彩的文本”的必要性。同时，笔者希望通过此 次翻译实践活动，切实将翻译理论和翻译实践结合起来，也将澳大利亚特定时期的历 史文化，发展进程呈现给译人语读者。 论文主要包含两部分：1.作者及文本简析。2.翻译分析。通过文本分析、策略 甄选、译文比较等，最终达到“用目的语重现原文本”的预期效果，证明目的论的行 之有效。 关键词：目的论 翻译目的 翻译策略 异化 ii Abstract The process of translation is a conscious human activity which is complex with various selections involved. Each translation and the selections involved are regulated or directed by purposes. Through the detailed analysis of the English – Chinese translation of Mysteries of a New Land in the light of the Skopos Theory, this thesis gives an introduction of the skopostheory and then proves it reasonable and effective. Meanwhile, according to Katharina Reisss text typology, the author analyses that the source text is a combination of the informative text and the expressive text. In addition, this thesis also highlights the necessity of foreignness respect by foreignization translation when translators deal with literary relevant text. Furthermore, the author hopes to make an integration of theory and practice through this translation process and make the translated text present a clear and vivid picture of Australian history and culture in a certain century.
