摘要 20 世纪70 年代，德国诞生了功能学派翻译理论，而目的论是该派中的核心理论。 目的论区别于传统的翻译“等值观”，注重翻译前对文本的分析，以译文预期功能（译 文目的）为导向，解决了长久以来困扰人们的直译与意译、异化与归化的问题，允许 同一原文在不同目的驱使下，翻译方法的多样化。《绝对影响力：个人领导力养成之 路》是一部讲述自我实现之道的励志畅销书，书中以对话体分享四位主人公精彩绝伦 的思想碰撞，甫一上市即深受好评，是笔者翻译实践的英语原文文本。本文以目的论 为依据，深入分析原文文本，探讨笔者在翻译实践中选取的翻译方法，认为在不同目 的性的翻译实践中，翻译的成功与否取决于它是否符合译本的目的。一些看似违反主 流翻译标准，却符合译本目的的翻译其实是可取的。作为专家，译者必须能够从更为 全面的角度分析原文文本，评估译文预期功能可否实现，并有针对性的选取最适合的 翻译方法与策略。 关键词：目的论 文本分析 译文目的 翻译实践 翻译述评 ii ABSTRACT In the 1970s, skopos theory was born in Germany, and then became the core theory in the functional school of translation studies. Differing from the traditional focus on translation equivalence, skopostheory highlight the pre-translation text analysis and the orientation of the translation‘s purpose, which help to bring about the solution of choosing translation methods between literal translation and free translation, or alienation and domestication, and allow the existence of diverse translating methods on the same source text under different translating purposes. Absolute Impact: the drive for personal leadership is a book of self-fulfillment and self- improvement. The great debate among the four characters was shared through dialogues, a special try, and it is the reason why the book is selected to be the source text of this translation practice. This thesis delves into the source text, and discusses the translation methods chosen thusly in the light of skopos theory.
