ABSTRACT
Slope protection and treatment is a common technical problem in geological engineering
which involves a variety area like national defense, road, railway, water conservancy, civil
engineering and municipal works. Anchorage is a typical method for the slope treatment. As
the developing of anchorage technics, there is a higher requirement of the reasonability and
economy of anchoring design.
The normal single-angled pre-stressed anchors can’t adequately play its anti-sliding force
which causes the anti-sliding force can’t meet the safety requirement. The mechanism model
of the slope and the sliding plane is established by analyzing the slope stability influence
factors and anchoring mechanism. Based on geometric relationship, the formula of optimal
angle of anchor system considering the influence of anchor root and head is deduced. Using
ANSYS, this paper analyzes the stress and displacement field of the slope in Northern
Shaanxi slope enforcement project. The results show that the optimal dip angle of the
anchorage is from 35°to 45°. The reasonability of the anchorage angle is verified by the
monitoring data.
The result of this paper has certain theoretical and engineering value and it can be used
to guide the design of anchor angle in similar projects.
