Information fusion and its application
in controling system fault diagnosis

Abstract : The basic concept, main advanta e, architecture, method and application of multisen
sor data fusion are described. Data fusion is the process of combinin , correlatin , and associatin data
from multisensor or other information sources to identity estimation and assessment of situations.
Some eneral problems on fault dia nosis are introduced. The process of data fusion of fault dia nosis
are also introduced. Their specialty and the layered fusion architecture fittin w ith fault dia nosis of
control system are analyzed, and an architecture of fault dia nosis w hich is based on the information
fusion are deeply investi ated.
