W e believe that teacher education shou ld becom e an indep endent discip line. However, the existing re search p aradigm s of teacher education in Ch ina. have not been m ain stream. Teacher education is still not a fu lly devel op ed discip line. D ifferen t comp rehen sion still exists upon the discip line of teacher education. Therefore, to p romp t the developm ent of teacher education discip line, p ertinen t strategie s and m ea su res shou ld be taken on the a sp ect of know ledge system and organ ization con struction du ring future e stab lishm ent of the discip line.
