STORAGE AND DISTRIBUTION SYSTEMS 8. 贮存和分配系统 8.1 INTRODUCTION 8.1 序论 This chapter provides an overview of eight common distribution configurations and a decision tree to help decide which system best suits the operating requirements. A comparison of tank versus tankless systems is addressed, as well as alternative materials of construction available, and ancillary equipment related to overall distribution systems. The storage system must maintain the feed water quality to ensure the appropriate quality of the end use of product. Storage allows a smaller, less costly pretreatment system to meet peak demand. A smaller treatment system operates closer to the ideal of continuous, dynamic flow.
