[摘　要]: 目前各大专院校的自动化类、电气类、机械类等专业几乎都设立了《PLC 原理及应用》课程。从教学的角度看,这是一门实践性很强的课程,学生在理论教学方面具有充足的授课时间、丰富的专业教材,与之相比,相关的实验教学手段和实际的让学兴趣的被控模型都显得明显不足,为了达到培养学生的创新意识,提高其工程综合应用能力的教学目标，设计了一套便于实验教学的新型交通控制实验装置。 本设计采用PLC 和触摸屏组成一个新的交通灯控制和监控实验装置,该实验装置不但能实现传统的交通灯控制功能,而且具有倒计时显示、多车道控制、行人过马路以及特殊情况下的控制等功能,同时能对交通灯的运行和路口车流情况进行监控。该实验面板采用模块化组合结构, 使用灵活, 性能稳定,直观性强, 具有良好的教学效果。 [关键词]：交通灯，PLC，触摸屏，实验控制面板 Traffic light control and monitoring system design Abstract：Automation of all tertiary institutions in the current category, type of electrical, mechanical, etc. Almost all of the professional set up PLC Principle and Application of courses.
