But so far, few investigations ave considered t e interaction between blood and vessels and t e influence from psyc ological pulse. In t is paper, t e ascending aorta, t e aortic arc and t e descending aorta were considered in t e geometric model. T e FSI was used to study t e blood flow in t e aortic arc according to t e p ysiologically pulsatile conditions. It was demonstrated t at t e velocity of blood and wall s ear stress in aortic arc were rarely affected by FSI, but t e FSI ad great affects on t e magnitude of blood flow and wall s ear stress in t e aortic arc . At t emoment w en systole switc ing into diastole, t e blood flow produced countercurrent; T e reversed flow was lower considering FSI; T ewall s ear stress was reduced by 25% in FSI compared wit rigid wall.
