Abstract! Objective To fully reflect theallocationprinciple,which includes equal pay for equalwork, get
ting pay according to work and giving more pay for more work, by linking the results of performance
assessment and the distribution system together. ethods A program of performance assessment was
designed, which includes factors such as the quantity and quality of nursing work,the risk andresponsibili
ty of nursing,the difficulty of nursing skills and the nursing staff package,and an distribution system was
established accordingly.Results The establishment and implementation of performanceevaluation and dis
tribution system greatly stimulated the enthusiasm and initiative of nursing staff, enhanced the collective
cohesion,improved the quality of care, and stabilized the nursing team. Conclusion The establishment of
performance assessment and distribution system,which are associated with the payment and promotion of
nursing staff,is the key factor in promoting the subjective initiatives of nursing staff.
