Do you have any problems with your schoolwork? Teaching methods: practice Teaching procedures: Step 1 Revision and checking Translate the important sentences in the letters. Collect the ways of solving the problems. Step2.Presentation You know that Eddie is getting fat. Here “get” means “become”. What other meanings does “get” have? Ask the students to look at the pictures in Part A, try to write the correct word in each blank. Check the answers in groups and correct the wrong ones by themselves Step3. Practice Practise the phrases in pairs. Translate the following phrases: 1、乘汽车 2、变得很生气 3、得高/低分 4、有大量的家庭作业 5、晚到家 6、收到来信 Finish Part B Ask the student to complete the letter using the phrases above.
