No. 2 中国驰名商标英译类型的历时考察 徐赛颖 , 黄大网 (宁波大学 外语学院 浙江 宁波 3152 11) 摘 　要 :通过对中国驰名商标英译现状的历时对比描写 ,本文发现在商标翻译这一跨文化交往行为中 ,随着国内市场 ( 全球化的深入进程 ,顺应英美强势话语文化的商标臆造法所 占份额显著增加 。但同时由于中国情境 包括语言与文 ) 化语境 的特殊性和 “名从主人 ”的翻译原则 ,顺应程度最低 、从属于套用法的汉语拼音法仍然在前后两个时间段内均 处于主导 ,表明 “名从主人 ”专用名词这一翻译原则的核心地位 ,而广受推崇的组合拼译法始终相对弱势 。 关键词 :商标翻译 ;跨文化交往行为 ;历时视角 ;文化顺应 ;名从主人 中图分类号 : H059　　　文献标识码 : A 　　　文章编号 :(2009) 02 008504 A b stract: Our chronological comp arative study on the English tran slation of Ch ine se Famou s B rand s show s that along the tim e scale from 2003 to 2006, coined nam ing—a mo st adap tive app roach to the dom inan t discou rse of A ngloAm erican cu ltu re— w itne sse s its rising ratio among other tran slation strategie s. Notab ly w ith in th is cro sscu ltu ral comm un icative action of trade m ark tran slation, the a ssum edly lea st effective P inyin App roach still occup ie s the mo st p rom inen t po sition acro ss the tim e scale wh ile the w idelyaccep ted b lending app roach a le ss sign ifican t one. A top tran slation p rincip le of “comp lying w ith the original form s of exp ression ”and Ch ine se p articu lars of lingu istic and cu ltu ral contexts are believed to p lay a sign ificant role in th is in teraction p roce ss of tran slation.
