Unit 3 Computers教学设计 Teaching analysis教材分析: This passage discusses mainly the development of computers and the applications of computers. It amis at enabling the students to understand the development of computersfrom very old-fashioned large ones, to the very small and compact ones like PCs and laptops, and even to robots. Students’ analysis学生分析: This passage is for senior one students, who already have a basic command of English and reading comprehensive skills, Senior one students already know how to use computers, so this topic should be interesting for them and it can stimulate their creavtive and imaginative ability. If teachers can instruct them properly, this passage will be a good one to let them practice their summarizing abilityfinding topic sentences of each paragraph, analytical ability. As students have different levels of English, teachers should pay special attention to the teaching methods so that each student can understand the passage and gain something from reading.
