It’s an important course for studying the computer hardware knowledge and low level software knowledge. It builds the foundation for successor studying of embedded system development, the low level driver program development, and low level of operating system。 This course includes three parts: principles of microcomputer assembly language and computer interface technology. The course content includes the basic concept of microcomputer, and designing of computer interface. It combines the computer hardware and software technology perfectly. For enhancing students’ practical ability of hardware and software, another experiments of assembly language experiments, and computer interface experiments, related to this course are offered. The theory is tightly combined with practice in this course. The course stresses purpose, practicality, and utility of study. The Intel 8086 serials microcomputer including 32 bit microcomputer is studied, by studying the theory from the scope of basics, systematicness, and practicability. By modern education method, multimedia courseware, step-by-step, microcomputer system is studied and analyzed, and integrated the course content into laboratory course.
