Methods: Integrated analysis the 10 cases of hyperthyroid ophthalmoplegia in our hosp-i tal. Results: In 10 m isdiagnosis patients w ith hyperthyroid ophthalmoplegia, 5 cases misdiagnose as myasthenia gra- vis, 2 cases misdiagnose as intracranial aneurysm, 1 case misdiagnose as inflammation of skull-base, 1 case m isdiag- nose as acunar Infarction of Brain Stem, 1 case misdiagnose as Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy. Conclusion: Hyper- thyroid ophthalmoplegia w ith the primary sym ptom of Drooping Eyelid is easy to be misdiagnosed. Understanding w ell this disease and detection of thyroid funct ion in the first time could reduce the rate of error diagnosis effectively.
