The ELV EC consists of w heel, ax le, body, m otor / con tro ller, energy storage, p ow er bus, etc. The acceleration, grad ing, driv ing sp eed and fuel econom y of the ELV EC are analyzed. The resu lts show that the ELV EC has good dynam ic p erform ance and fuel econom y. It is su itab le for the driv ing cond itions of the startacceleratestop and the low sp eed driv ing cond itions in u rban areas. A t the sam e tim e, the m otor p erform ance, energy storage ( batteries ) and energy m anagem en t of the ELV EC are sim u lated. It is concluded that the effic ienc ies of the m otor, batteries and driveline are h igh, and the energy m anagem en t and the fuzzy log ic con tro l strategy are efficien t.
