A bstrac t: The faults analysis and reliab ility analysisw erem ade for the hydraulic system fau lts ofw alking beam furnace. The re
su lt of reliab le model analysis show s that the system is cascade system wh ich has low reliability, the system failure com es from oil pol
lu tion. The system reliab ility was smi u lated. Based on the parallel princip le, and comm on mode failure arised by oil pollu tion, the
transform ation plan of hydrau lic system w as drawn up, the transform ation of the hydraulic valve and the hydraulic station w as mi ple
m ented. After the transform ation, the reliab ility of the hydrau lic system w as com pensated, the system failurewas elmi inated. The op
eration resu lt show s that the transform ation p lan is feasib le.
