转自: 专筑网 iarch.cn 智利 lucernas 住宅设计 chilean practice 01 arq has recently completed the lucernas house in the small farming town of catemito, 20 kilometers south of santiago at the base of chena hill. the plan is composed of shifted rectangular masses with a solid linear datum that provides the circulation from which the supplementary program branches out. the uniform height of the single-storey orthogonal dwelling is broken up by protruding boxes that jut up into the sky which contain the windows like large light-wells that not only extend views to the landscape but also illuminate the interior laterally and from overhead and helps to ventilate the dwelling in the hot summer months. the structure is made of traditional reinforced masonry, painted dark grey on the exterior to blend more naturally into its agricultural surroundings. extruded geometries in plan create supplementary spaces that carry through to the open air, such as the open terrace that frames views to the north. the open-plan white interior is composed of large sliding glass doors that can divide private and public spaces as needed.
