Research on SMS Alarm Flow Monitoring Based on Cacti Threshold Plug-in

Abstract: In view of the importance of flow monitoring in network management ，the article poses and designs a SMS alarm monito-
ring system with RedHatAs5 based on the Cacti． The system uses B / S structure ，with the Cacti as monitoring manager ，and in-
stalls threshold plug-in and fetion software． It achieves continuous centralized flow monitoring of network appliances in the whole
network． By means of setting running state threshold of monitoring device on Cacti ，the system can give a SMS alarm when the
network appliance appears unusual flows． As
