School of Civil Engineering and Transportation, South China University of Technology, Guangzhou 510640, China) Abstract: In order to describe the dynamic viscoelastic behavior of asphalt mixtures, the dynamic mechanical test analysis of three asphalt mixtures was performed. Dynamic creep tests and dynamic frequency sweep tests of asphalt mixtures were carried out with fractional derivative Burgers model and the fractional derivative Maxwell model based on the theory of the fractional derivative constitutive model and the classical viscoelastic model (Burgers model and generalized Maxwell model). The two kinds of constitutive equations were compared based on the fitting results. The results show that the classical viscoelastic model is unsuitable to describe the dynamic performance of the asphalt mixtures. Burgers model can fit the dynamic creep curv
