Nonlinear Analyses for the Permeability Coefficient of Frozen Soil The Outline of Presentation The Outline of My Thesis 1. Introduction 2. Research Methodology 3. Results and Analysis 4. Conclusion Frozen Soil Coring Specimen Frost Soil Component And Volume Introduction Research Orientation: Why do I choose the theme for my study? The research on permeability coefficient of frozen soil has developed for decades, achievements existed are obtained mainly from qualitative analysis, the quantitative analysis is seldom seen. The paper researches the nonlinearity of frozen soil physical parameters in order to provide with theory and data support for frozen soil engineering. 1 2 Methodology Related to This Study Related Methodology Fundamental Assumption Governing Differential Equation Software-COMSOL Model Equation Microscopic Three-Dimensional Model Darcy Equation The Permeability Coefficient Equation Tested Specimen Geotechnical Parameters and Measured Grain Composition of Frozen Soil Results Analysis Comparison between the Calculated Value and the Measured Value of the Permeability Coefficient Correlation of the Average Particle Diameter and the Equivalent Permeability Coefficient Correlation of the Porosity and the Equivalent Permeability Coefficient Results Analysis Correlation of the Unfrozen Water Content and the Equivalent Permeability Coefficient Correlation of the Ice Content and the Equivalent Permeability Coefficient Results Analysis Conclusions 2 K decreases with ice content and the moisture content 3 COMSOL studies the correlation between K and influence factors ,reasonably and feasible 4 1 K increases with particle diameter, porosity and unfrozen water content K influence factor: porosity, particle diameter, grain composition, water content, ice content etc SICHUAN UNVIERSITY Thank you for your attention!
