第37 卷第4 期 Vol. 37 No.4 2009 年8 月 JOURNAL OF ZHEJIANG UNIVERSITY OF TECH NOLOGY Aug. 2009 , ( , 3 0032) : 在微内核的结构中, 大部分执行操作系统功能的服务以及驱动都 移出了内核, 导致了频繁 的地址空间切换, 产生了很大的系统开销, 而地址空间的切换必然伴随着TLB 的刷新, 随着T LB 容量的增加, T LB 的刷新也为地址空间切换的带来了很大的开销, 在Intel 处理器上, 针对频繁的 地址空间切换, 研究并引入了小地址空间的概念, 有效地减少了地址空间的切换从而避免了T LB 的大量刷新, 同时也提高了进程间通信的效率, 在 一定程度上提高了系统性能. : 微内核; 地址空间; 小地址空间; TLB : T P3 6 : A : 0064303( 2009) The research on address space based on microkernel GU Hui, QIU Ting ( College of Information Engineering, Zhejiang U niversity of T echnology, Hangzhou 3 0032, China) Abstract: In the architecture of microkernel, most system services in operating system have been removed out of the kernel. It leads to the frequent sw itching of address space and results in a lot of system overhead. The sw itching of address space alw ays requires lots of T LB refresh. With the increase of T LB capacity, refreshing T LB for address space sw itch is a big overhead. In Intel processor, w e study and introduce the concept of smalladdressspace for this problem in this paper. It can effectively reduce the sw itching of address space so as to avoid a large of T LB refresh. At the same time, it also can improve the efficiency of the process of communication. T o some extent, it effectively improves system performance.
