Protected by a surprisingly robust waterproof plastic PVC casing, Lucis ten high-output LEDs are powered by a rechargeable lithium polymer battery pack that draws power from a solar panel located on the bottom of the lantern. Luci offers three settings - low power, high power, and flashing emergency signal - operated by a single button located in the center of the solar charger.
