My Reflections on Relationships Between China And Africa As many people know, there are friendship and partnership between China and Africa. This relationship to whether China or Africa is absolutely important. In recent years, Chinas influence in Africa has kept increasing. First, China has the largest foreign exchange reserves in the world, and to make the foreign exchange reserves diversification, one of the options can be invest to Africa. It’s mutually beneficial to both countries. Africa is very attractive to China. It can provide resources, such as Petroleum, copper, nickel, gold to support the development of China. And to Africa, Chinese development model is worth learning. And the investment from China, that can help Africa to develop the infrastructures. In fact, the speed of the development of China and Africa is quite fast, and now, China is the largest trading partner of Africa. In my opinion, the present of China in Africa is beneficial. The strong economic complementarity between china and Africa offers us broad prospects for mutually beneficial cooperation. Some western countries advocate that China’s investment in Africa as neo-colonialism. I consider that is unreasonable, China does not control any Africa countries, while western countries control more than half the Africa countries economy. The western elites regard China as opponent to scramble for resources and influence from them, so they distort some relationship between China and Africa. China has not hindered the Africa’s development. The friendship and partnership between China and Africa starts since 1956,and in this year, China and Egypt established diplomatic relations. We are the most faithful and reliable ally to each other. To improve the relationships between China and Africa, as far as Im concerned, first, China and Africa should establish the relationship of mutual benefit and reciprocity, which is foundation of long-term relationship.
