Conversion efficiency of soybean oils to biodiesel using LiAlO2 can reach 97.45%. The catalytic results revealed that LiAlO2 maintained its activity after six catalytic runs. a r t i c l e i n f o a b s t r a c t Article history: The LiAlO2 catalyst was prepared by solid-state reaction and then applied to the biodiesel production by Received 17 March 2015 transesterification reaction between methanol and soybean oil.
