Metal-Organic Frameworks MOFs are crystalline compounds consisting of metal ions or clusters coordinated to often rigid organic or flexible molecules to form one-, two-, or three-dimensional structures. MOFs, as a novel type of porous materials, have been attracted a great deal of interest due to their flexible tailoring, varying topologies and potential applications in ion-exchange, gas separation, catalysis, gas sensor in combination with optics, electrics, magnetism and enantioselective separation. However, the “true” engineering of MOFs remains a difficult challenge.In this thesis, interacting with fluorene acid which functions as a ligand,manganese metal ions build two potential magnetic properties of coordination polymers. It is the impact of the organic template agent that has been depicted in detail ,adding a brief introduction of their structures and properties .
