ETHICS SECTION 2 Public Acceptance The accounting profession, like any other profession, exists only through wide public acceptance Independent auditing maintains its professional status by striving for consistency of quality and by maintaining independence from management How does auditing achieve and maintain the level of quality needed to preserve its professional status?
