How goods are shipped？ Carriages of goods take place by road, inland water way, sea and air. And in the recent years, a new type of carriage appeared, called the combined transport, operating on a road-sea-rail journey. Who are involved in shipment? Three parties involve in most movements of goods: the consignor — who sends the goods; the carrier — who carries them; the consignee—who receives them at the destination. What are the purposes of shipping letters? Shipping letters usually have four purposes: urging shipment sending shipping instructions amending shipping clauses giving shipping advice. What’s more, as time of shipment is very important, it should be appropriately decided in the letter. Suggestions Shipping letters should be concise and clear so that there will be no confusion and will not cause delay in delivery.
