英语完形填空专题讲座主讲人:胡卫卫hwwhb@163.com 科技类语篇的句式比较完整,变化较少;完全句多,省略句少;长句多,短句少;且常出现以it引导的句式(如:it’s necessary that…)和以that引导的主语从句。由于科技文体要求表述严谨,所以主从复合句、同位语、插入语的使用频率较高。 一些可以表示逻辑关系的词语常出现在科技文体中,例如:hence, consequently, accordingly, however, but, also, namely, finally, generally, especially, furthermore等。 还大量使用连接性词语,例如:on the contrary, as a result, in short, for example, for instance, first, second, third, in addition, on the one hand, on the other hand, as mentioned above, as shown in…, as a matter of fact, in conclusion, in summary, to conclude, to summarize, in theory, in practice, in principle, in comparison, by contrast, in most cases, for the most part等。这些词语在叙述、归纳、推理、论证、和概括等方面能起到语意连贯的作用。 做完型填空的思路 跳读语篇各段文字首尾句,预测文章主心话题。 背景知识链接,运用已有知识表象帮助理解文章。 做完型填空的思路 通篇细读,理清文中内在脉络:逻辑关系、人物关系、指称关系等。 结合语境,区分选项。 The party began shortly after nine.
