Lesson 21: How Can We Go to Beijing?
一、教材分析
对于交通工具学生并不陌生,所以对于交通工具的速度也一定很熟悉,因此对于“fast, slow”一定比较熟悉,再由此引出形容词比较级的概念。
二、学情分析
学生在学习了car ,bus ,train ,bicycle 等交通工具后可以很容易的将这些引入课文中的句型里面。
二、教学目标:
(一)知识:
1. 巩固下列单词:
bicycle, cab, car, truck, bus
2. 掌握四会单词:
airplane / plane, train, fast, slow, faster, slower
3. 巩固形容词比较级句型:
An plane is faster than a bus.
(二)能力:
学生能够通过观察事物运动的快与慢来比较哪一个更快,哪一个更慢,并用英语来描绘某物比某物更快或更慢。
(三)情感:
培养学生用英语表达思想的能力和习惯。
二、教学重点:
四会单词:airplane / plane, train, fast, slow, faster, slower。
教学难点:
运用比较级描述事物。
三、教学媒体:多媒体课件、跳绳、录音机
四、教学过程
1、Class Opening and Review
(1)? Greeting.
Good morning, everyone! How are you?
(2)? Let’s? chant : how do you go to school?
How do you go to school?? By bus, by bus.
How do you go to school?? By bike ,by bike.
How do you go to school?? By car, by car.
How do you go to school?? On foot, on foot.
(3)? Revision:
let’s have some revision. I prepared some beautiful pictures for? you .
Look here , what’s this?
Car, your father , grandfather, and your uncle can drive a car.读,拼。
? bicycle , we can ride a bicycle to school.
truck, we can put some heavy things on the truck.
? cab, if you want to go out ,you can say: taxi !
? bus. In our city , so many people go to work by bus.(板书)
2、New concepts.
Airplane / plane?? train? fast? slow? faster? slower
(1) Let’s look at some big pictures.
What’s this?
???? plane .? A plane flies in the sky.? It is so fast.
read and spell. 出示幻灯片,分行读? (板书)
手指拼写,闭眼拼写
we also say it airplane for long.
Train . A train is very long.
read and spell. 男女生读? (板书)
手指拼写,闭眼拼写
(2)Look here. I invite you a friend.? Littlebear.
Littlebear can go around.出示小熊,演示快、慢。
出示的过程略慢一些,给学生思考的时间。
一生演示:swim fast, swim slow.
一起做:Clap fast , slap slow.
This time? is _____. Fast??? (板书)
This time? is _____. Slow??? (板书)
An airplane is -------fast.
A bus is --------------slow.
Faster(板书)先掌握读音
slower(板书)
A train is faster than a bus, but slower than an airplane. 板书
分行读,同桌读。
然后叫学生用现实生活中的实际情况造句:Eg: A rabbit runs faster than a turtle ……
