南京艺术学院硕士学位论文 摘要 随着中国城市建设的快速发展，雕塑作为公共艺术中的重要表现形式，在公共空间 中被大量的运用。由于城市雕塑本身的特殊性，从出现的那天起就存在于艺术与公共设 施两者之间。城市雕塑作为公共设施的同时也受到时代艺术风潮的影响。公共性是城市 雕塑与生俱来的特征，也是其区别于一般雕塑艺术特征之一。以南京新街口广场孙中山 像为例，通过查阅资料与实地观察，对其历史、周围环境、艺术性进行分析，来探讨雕 塑与公共空间的关系。雕塑在公共空间中的树立，不是随意的、盲目的，要考虑公共空 间中的各个因素对其的要求与限制。作为雕塑本身，还要体现一定的地域、历史、文化 与人文气质，起到一定的美育功能。因此，好的雕塑一定是与公共空间相协调的和谐统 一。 关键词：公共空间 雕塑 历史 广场 建筑 孙中山像 Ⅰ 南京艺术学院硕士学位论文 Abstract With the rapid development of Chinese urban construction, sculptures are widely used in many public areas as an essential representative of public art. Since the urban sculptures have their own particularity, its form is between the art and public facility. Specifically, the urban sculptures are served as the public facilities and also affected by the trend of modern art. However, they are different with the common art works in their public features. In the case of statue of Sun Yat-sen in Xin Jiekou of Nanjing, I analyze it for discussing the relations between sculpture and public space in the aspects of history, surrondings and artistry through reading some literatures and field observation. Building sculptures in public areas are not arbitrary and blind. All the factors of the open area should be taken into account as the requirements and restrictions. As a original sculpture, it has to reflect the local characteristics, history, culture and humanities so that can contribute to the virtue education.
