Conference Trade fair event Coffee break Formal networking events: drinking event, coaching event, club activity, socializing party… Online networking: facebook, linkedin, myspace… Here are some points you should remember when making business introductions in English-speaking countries: Introduce businesspeople in order of professional rank ( ascending or descending order?) When possible, stand up when you are making a introduction. If clients are present, they should be introduced first. If you are being introduced to someone, shake hands and say “Hello” (informal) or “Pleased to meet you”, Treat business cards with respect. Take a moment to read them and carefully put them.
