Unit 1(1) 课程教案 授课题目(教学章节或主题):Unit 1 Learning a Foreign Language 授课类型  ?口语课,讨论课 授课时间 第 周 教学目标或要求: 1. grasp the main idea and the structure of the text ; 2. understand the devices developing the para3. master the key words and phrases and sentence patterns in the text; 4. conduct a serious of reading, listening, speaking and writing activities related to the theme of the unit. Teaching focus: Comprehension of the text 2. understanding of the text structure and writing devices employed in the passage 3. sentence patterns and grammatical structures 4. narration of one’s own experiences Difficulties: devices for developing the main idea paraphrase and application of sentence patterns and difficult sentences. Teaching contents: Step 1: Pre-reading Activities: Listen, Look Say (45 m) 1. Check the Ss’ preview by presentation and discussion 1) presentation: ask Ss to talk about their English learning experiences in front of the class. After presentation , the other Ss ask the one presenting some questions about language learning and try to use some expressions to express agreement or disagreement. 2) Discussion: A student raise a problem/difficulty in English learning, the other Ss give him answer or provide some help. 2). Background Information: Watch the video and then discuss the topics as follows: An American student’s view on high school.---Introduce “positive” and “negative” feelings. Step 2: Text Analysis: Main Idea and Devices for Developing It (50 m) 1.
