Peter told Lucy that Li Lei was reading a book. 2.直接引语如果是一般疑问句，变为间接引语时，用连词if或whether（是否）引导，主句中的谓语动词是said时，要改为asked。并且把疑问语序改为陈述句语序。（课本101页） 3.直接引语如果是特殊疑问句，变为间接引语时，仍用原来的疑问词引导。 4.直接引语如果是祈使句，变为间接引语时，要将祈使句的动词原形变为带to的不定式，并在不定式的前面根据句子的意思加上tell（告诉），ask（问），order（命令）等动词，其句型是tell/ask/order sb.
