GMES ESRIN/Contract no. 19366/05/I-EC Terrafirma Product EXPLOITATION REPORT V2 2nd August 2005 Richard Burren and Ren Capes (NPA) Terrafirma EXPLOITATION REPORT Introduction Each Terrafirma product is delivered to a RECIPIENT under the terms of a Service Level Agreement (SLA) that has been duly signed by all parties. The SLA places obligations on the RECIPIENT to interpret the H-1 product that was provided to them, and then make efforts to exploit the information and data derived to other potential users. The SLA contracts the RECIPIENT to provide back to Terrafirma a report covering these exploitation activities. The Exploitation Report should state what was done to promote, exploit, use and further expose the Terrafirma product and derived information to other important public and private sectors within your country to help stimulate further demand. Such entities might include national utility operators, engineering consultancies, regional development and planning agencies, environmental agencies, transport operators, extractive industries and policy validation. This document provides the template for the Terrafirma Exploitation Report. Note, that the RECIPIENT should submit a separate Exploitation Report for each individual exploitation activity (i.e. presentations made to, and discussions with one particular organisation). Please reference each individual exploitation activity as requested in the first field for completion. Included within each section of the template is an explanatory note on the requirements written in blue, please delete this explanatory text as you enter the required information. An example Exploitation Report is provided in red at the end of this template. This activity should not be limited to entities just within the geographic area covered by the H-1 product delivered, as the intention of the project is to stimulate interest nation-wide.
