ENGLISH SUBJECT INDEX TO ORDINANCES 條例英文主題索引 This English Index classifies the Ordinances published in the current Loose-leaf Edition of the Laws of Hong Kong (Issue 52) in accordance with their general subject-matter. The Ordinances listed under a particular subject-heading have been selected on the basis of the legal subject to which they relate (for example, intellectual property and tort law) or the subject-matter indicated by either the long or short titles of those Ordinances (for example, dangerous goods and parks). Many Ordinances are listed under more than one subject-heading. Moreover, as this Index is arranged in alphabetical order, which makes specific subjects easier to locate, more subject-headings are contained in this English Index than in the Chinese Subject Index. This Index is intended to serve only as a general guide to readers. It does not purport to be a comprehensive index of every subject covered by each Ordinance.
