陕西布艺 布艺是一种采用绣、拼、贴、缀、填充等综合手法制成的立体布制艺术品。根据用途分为四种类型: 一是为孩童所作的布艺，也称布玩;二是婚俗布艺，有着美化新婚洞房的作用，更寄托着辟邪纳福、生殖繁衍的祈盼;三是寿俗布艺，多为女儿为老人所做，有生命延绵、种族昌盛的寓意;四是端午节的各式香包，有辟邪护生的民俗功用。 Folk Embroidery of Shaanxi Province Folk embroidery of Shaanxi Province includes many kinds of handmade cloth articles, through such　needlework skills as piecing rags together, embroidering, sticking, stitching and stuffing. According to different functions and purposes, the embroidery falls into four types. The first type is the cloth　toy made for children to play with. The second is those cloth ornaments used in wedding ceremony. They are used to decorate the bridal chamber and also help to express folk people’s wishes for good-luck, exorcising evil spirits and thriving in fertility. The third is those which are made by daughters for their parents wishing for their longevity and prosperity of the family. The last type is the cloth sachet, made during the Dragon Boat Festival. It is also lucky sign, protecting people and exorcising the evil spirits. 陕西民间剪纸 剪纸，俗称“窗花”，在陕西民间有着久远而深厚的基础。陕西农村，每逢喜庆节日，家家户户便把剪好的窗花贴在糊上白纸的窗子上，这些剪纸内容丰富，多为吉鸟瑞兽，蕴含着吉祥、幸福和繁衍生育的文化内涵，寄托着秦人期盼富裕生活的美好愿望。 Folk Paper-cutting in Shaanxi Province Paper-cutting, which is also called “window flower”, has a long history and is deep rooted in the villages of Shaanxi Province. In the rural areas of Shaanxi, every time when there is festival or holiday, every household will paste the paper-cuttings on to the white paper that is used to cover windows. Those paper-cuttings are rich in pattern, design and symbol.
