The adsorbing phase is the adsorbent, and the material adsorbed or concentrated at the surface of that phase is the adsorbate. 吸附过程中涉及物质从一相积聚或聚集在另一相表面的分离。 吸附相是吸附剂,吸附材料或聚集在这相表面的物质是吸附质。 Adsorption is thus different from adsorption, a process in which material transferred from one phase to another (e.g.liquid) interpenetrates the second phase to form a “solution”.
